History

1997 – 2006 “Kodak Information and Technical Specialist” Brought Online Services, Webmaster, and Internet Marketing Tech responsibilities to the GCSS ACCO (Global Customer Service Support -  Americas Call Center Operation).  Helped create strategies for email support in GCSS. Created discussion forums on Kodak web site, formally represent Kodak in newsgroups, discussion forums, chats, support all digital products across DFIS (Digital Film Imaging Systems) Business Unit.  Worked on team to identify and bring 'KANA' into Kodak ACCO to handle increased email volume.  Helped design Service and Support web pages.

1995 – 1997 Project Manager for Commercial and Government Systems. Managed kodak.com department projects.  Transitioned to company Webmaster and Imtech (Internet Marketing Tech)  responsibilities. “Online Services” Responsible for Online Services in Internet Marketing (primarily AOL now YGP).

1992 – 1995 “Technical Editor” in Technical Knowledge Management I was responsible for publications and won three STC  awards (Society Of Technical Communicators). This includes the CRT Printers, Kodak Lab Software, Marketing Publications, and some Priced Publications, i.e. Kodak Workshop Series -  Darkroom Techniques.  I was System Administrator of the group that ran Macintosh computers at the time. maintained equipment inventory, Published Kodak books and wrote articles for non Kodak publications, i.e. Shutterbug.

1975 – 1992  “Photographic Specialist” Responsible for supporting Kodak products used by general customers, professional studios, labs, photofinishers, service bureaus.  Helped create large repository of “form letters,” became expert in all product areas (Photographic Technique, film, paper, processing, equipment) traveled the 48 contiguous states putting on shows about photography, represented Kodak on newsgroups, internet, and created and ran the Kodak Photography Forum on AOL.

1972 – 1975  “Supervisor-  Supervised team of 5 people responsible for the Literature and Mail of Photo Information (precursor to the Kodak Information Center now ACCO). Created a microfiche library of all company photo product manuals and references from 1882 to 1972 (90 years).  Created new mail processes to save company over $100,000 per year (awarded $10,000 suggestion)

Work Achievements

    Created the 'Kodak Photography Forum,' a sanctioned and supported presence on AOL for Kodak (Received Golden Spike award and Bonus directly from George Fisher)

    Created discussion forums that operated and ran on Kodak web site from 1997to 2002

    Won three awards from the Society of Technical Communicators

    Created a microfiche file system of all Photo product reference material from 1882 to 1972 - Still in use today

    Created new mail procedures using Library and bulk mail rates that saved the company over $100,000 per year ($10,000 Suggestion Award)
